The Call gathers personal stories where the past unexpectedly resurfaces, awakening hidden memories.

It is an interdisciplinary project spanning film, dance, performance, and opera, inviting audiences to forge a deeper connection with our intuition and ancestral memory.

The Storyteller recounts experiences that crisscross timelines and geography focusing on the experiences of women, reflecting on both tragic and transcendent moments. The Storyteller will recount being accused as a witch in the countryside of medieval Europe and slowly burned. She will then recall how she shuddered each time she took a certain train, only to realize years later, that was the same train route many had taken to their deaths during the War. The girl also wonders if her grandmother became rich because she stole a duwende`s hat in the Philippines.
The images projected will be a collage of archival, experimental and metaphorical images, creating an atmosphere that flows cyclically, like the waves of the sea.
